Carmelo Anthony was one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. Dubbed a “walking bucket” by many, Anthony played in the NBA for 19 seasons with the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers. Although he never won an NBA title during his outstanding career, Carmelo won an NCAA championship in college and became one of the most decorated Olympic basketball players in Team USA history.
Awards and Honors
- On April 7, 2003, Carmelo led Syracuse to the NCAA basketball championship as the Orange defeated Kansas 81-78. Anthony, only a freshman, led all scorers with 20 points in the title game. He was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
- Anthony was named to the 2003-04 NBA All-Rookie First Team.
- Carmelo was a ten-time NBA All-Star and was selected to an All-NBA team six times.

In 2008, as a part of the Redeem Team, he was third (11.5 ppg) behind Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. In 2012 (16.3 ppg) and 2016 (12.1 ppg), Anthony was the second leading scorer, finishing behind Kevin Durant both times.
